John sang background vocals and performed piano on major releases in the United States and worldwide. His music career led him to spend time in Denver, Colorado and Los Angeles, but he also consistently returned to his summer home on Mackinac Island, Michigan to perform, compose and relax in his family's cottage at British Landing on the remote north end of this beautiful and historic island. It was here that he composed Take Me to Mackinac Island. This song is a long-time favorite of John's fans! Popular with locals and tourists alike, it is a celebration of summer fun on Mackinac Island!
